Creative Vision
"Raat Baki" traces the haunting journey of a woman trapped between who she dreamed of becoming and who she's forced to be.Her younger self,
once innocent and full of wonder—has morphed into an invisible tyrant, relentlessly pushing her toward perfection. Each achievement becomes a new cage.
The crown that once sparkled now weighs her down. In chasing the dream, she's lost herself entirely.
The music video follows her descent into a life where
smiling through trauma is success, where her body is not her own, and where rest is a luxury she cannot afford. Her younger self, initially her muse,
becomes her harshest judge, demanding she maintain an impossible illusion. By the end, standing before the mirror, she confronts the mannequin she's become:
beautiful, polished, and completely hollow. The tragedy isn't in failing the dream—it's in achieving it.
The final moments reveal the silence behind her success. The applause fades, the expectations remain, and she is left facing the emptiness created by years of
self-denial. The girl she wanted to protect became the voice that destroyed her. "Raat Baki" is not just about ambition—it is about the cost of becoming everything
the world asked her to be, while forgetting the person she was before the world started watching.
Role Overview
Prajwal, as the Creative Director, worked closely with the director from the early stages of the project,
contributing to the development of the synopsis, concept, structure, screenplay, mood board, shot listing,
locations, and casting. His role was to help translate the director’s vision into a true, raw, and emotionally
haunting visual experience. He supported creative decisions throughout the process—from pre-production
to improvisations on set and reviewing the final cut. Prajwal focused on creating contrasts, emotional depth,
and visual storytelling that captured the core essence of the music video.
The contrast between the younger self and the present version
of the character created a haunting reflection of self-conflict.
Symbolic elements like the mirror, the transformation into a
“mannequin,” and the weight of perfection were used to show
emotional isolation.
